I feel inspired working with people who care about their health and well-being and are keen to test their limits and give things a go.
My name is Laura Ecclestone – a fitness lover, a “Mounty”, a Mum. I have worked in the world of fitness and health for (deep breath) 20+ years now and I wont stray from it. I am lucky that my #1 passion is my profession and lead to the conception of Result Based Training and its success to date.
I get a kick out of seeing the physical and mental development that comes from commitment and self belief when exercising. And so I work hard to encourage, support, and build confidence within my RBT team. We are all at different fitness levels, going through different stages in our lives, but the common denominator is that we turn up… we share a desire (a flicker or a flame) to be fitter, stronger and healthier.
I worked in a local gym for 13 years as a Les Mills Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. In 2012 a small group of us began training in my backyard…. we called it Backyard Training. The group grew significantly over a short period until my backyard was bursting at the seams – it was time to close the gate or think bigger. Result Based Training came to life and I now spend my time helping people (individually or in a group environment) to embrace exercise, push personal boundaries, and ultimately enjoy their fitness journey!
We have created a wee RBT community of comrades who love to train together and we often meet outside usual training sessions to complete team events and challenges. I’m proud to say that they are a welcoming and encouraging bunch – newbies are brought into the fold no matter how fit or experienced they are and are instantly made into permanent furniture. Some are unable to do a single press-up when we start training together – and what a buzz it is to work with these people who surprise themselves every week by their growth in strength and technique.
If you are reading this, then you must have a flicker or flame burning to give Result Based Training a go – and why not see if it’s for you? (I understand full well that RBT may not suit everyone, so “pressure” is not something I do with new recruits).
You are welcome to give me a call, we can chat about what you’re looking for, any goals you may have, and go from there.
Or you could check out the group training timetable, pick a time and send me text to join in! You’ll see my RBT flag set up wherever we are.
Thanks for visiting my website and i look forward to meeting you hopefully soon!
